Who's a pretty boy?

I worked a shift this morning, then a quick dash out to a meeting at the Orchard Tea Garden at Grantchester, near Cambridge. The meeting went well and I think I have paid penance x 3 and I'm still keeping the options open! I would have blipped the orchard but in the rain it looked miserable :0(

On the way home I called into a garden centre to exchange a gift voucher which has been in my bag for about a year!! I don't think it had an expiry date on it, but didn't want to risk waiting till next spring. Bought some more pansies to put in to the hanging baskets for the winter.

This "pretty boy" was one of the very talkative entertainers!!

The plumber has done day 3 and will be back tomorrow. Still doing a grand job!!

We had a call from D this evening. She is coming over for the weekend and will arrive about 10am on Friday (these early birds!!!). With a bit of luck we will have moved the contents of the airing cupboard, towels, pictures etc .... etc off her bed. It won't be the first time she has arrived to be greeted by departing workmen and had to roll up her sleeves and help with the cleaning!!!
