Rapahoe Beach

I had to head over to the West Coast today.  Our boys are competing in a rugby tournament here over the next 3 days and I promised them I'd come and watch some of their games.

I decided to stay with friends out near Rapahoe, and took a wander down to the beach this evening.  The colour in this photo is SOOC - it seems pretty glaringly orange to me, but that's obviously how the camera wanted it!

As far as I can tell, the biggest island is called Big Rock, so I assume the other is Little Rock.

I love West Coast beaches, and am looking forward to falling asleep tonight to the roar of the sea.
