To Amsterdam

A lovely day's cycling - somewhere on the way, we passed the 200 mile mark - modest enough, but still enough for a tiny whoop.
First stop the market at Hilversum (of the radio knobs) - a terrific haul, including smoked eel and flat peaches. Then on to Naarden, set inside its star fort - ice creams and a nose about the place. On to Muiden for a coffee sitting in the sun watching the boats going through the locks.
And then on to Amsterdam - Zeeburg Too. No caravans or motorhomes here. And more than a few stoners. A freshen up and out we sallied to Brouwerij t'IJ - only to find it closes at 8pm! Instead we pressed into Beertuin and consoled ourselves with Bratwurst and Weiss Bier. Back to the campsite to sit under the stars awhile and ponder aloud. As we do.
