Webbed

I woke up to fog this morning.
It so rarely happens I felt the need to step outside, instead of sip my tea like I normally do. It didn't clear up either - not until almost 10. I pottered around the Maple Lake dock trying to spot trees on the other side, or houses, or anything but the fog was dense as ... well, fog.
And then I spotted this web high up in a tree. I ran back to the car to get my zoom and regretted wearing extra long pants/trousers and cloth sneakers because by the time I was done (and late for work) I was soaked.
Well worth it though as I don't think that I've done a traditional pearly spiderweb in 980 Blips and I feel the need to tick boxes.
Or maybe not ;)
