I'm a big boy now!

CJ is so chuffed with himself. He is writing and he is amazed at the fact that he is starting to read. He seemed to think that he would never be able to do it. When we told him this skill would be learned in school he was not convinced at all.

Apparently parents night is now to be referred to as a conference! I am interested to know how the change in title impacts on kids. As parents we go to the school to talk to the teacher about progress, or the lack of. Has that changed? No! I'm all for progress but change for the sake of change is not helpful Rant over!!
