Needle tracks

Matt's Mum and Dad were flying back to South Africa this evening and it's been great to see them on this, albeit brief, visit. A quiet evening after they left catching-up with ironing and sewing.

My grandma had the most amazing talent for sewing, embroidery and making things and her projects were often used in exhibitions. I have a feeling I may take it up when I get a bit older but I've got a very long way to go before I'd be classed as being good at it. Maybe I should focus on photographing it instead!
