I wonder...

...if my chums will need lots of help this autumn and winter.

I've been looking at the bag of food by the front door for the entire summer and ignoring it completely but I think now might be the time to start dusting down and washing the feeders and bird table.

It may not be as needed as in the previous couple of years but it can't do any harm and if I start letting them get comfortable around the garden now, I'll be getting some splendid close-up blips in a few weeks.
