" An Apple a Day..... "

So, today was another busy day, and exceptionally so for it being a weekday!!!
We had a reunion lunch for 160 people, in our function suite, as well as lunch for 30 in the main hotel!!!
Everyone seemed to leave roundabout 5pm, leaving us 2 hours to turn the restaurant around for evening service, as well as turning around the function suite for a fine dining event tomorrow evening for 165!!!!
Needless to say, we managed to get it all done...with literally seconds to spare, so all was good!!!...
To make matters even better..... my lovely group of 4 guys from last night came in, and yes, you guessed it..... I told them that we would not have room in the restaurant for them tonight....mwah ha ha haaaa
They ended up going out for dinner, and on their return, commenting on the restaurant not being too busy, gave me the perfect opportunity to say...Well im sorry gents, but the idea of not serving you was "slightly more appealing " than having to do it!!!!!
lol...I may get into trouble, but somehow, I doubt it very much, having relayed it all to the boss!!!!

Anyway, the saying goes...an apple a day, keeps the doctor away....as well as.....Apple for the teacher......

Tomorrow, I have an appointment at the hospital....nothing serious, ok still not so nice, but very very long overdue investigation.........but on the flip side, I have 2 days off...in a row.....wow!!!!!!.....go me!!!!!
So, although I cant relax, or lie on......Im going to enjoy some me time nonetheless!!!!!
