May the road rise up to meet you

Well it eventually stopped raining and has given way to thick hot mizzle but we had brunch with some friends and decided to get out anyway. We went up into the hills behind Ballydehob, all low lying clouds, tiny roads, verdant hedgerows and glimmering bogs. It was lovely but my hair is now completely out of control due to the damp.
There are some amazing clouds going on now across the bay and I have just just had a swim - slightly mucky water after all the rain but no jellies. And wait.... blue sky has appeared!
