Easedale

After all the driving around yesterday I was desperate to get out and have a walk. The weather forecast suggested it would rain at some point. I also wanted to visit the Lakeland Artist's Society summer exhibition at Grasmere before it closed on the 6th. We opted for a walk up to Easedale Tarn, one of my favourite short walks, returning down into Easedale and back to Grasmere. It started raining towards the end of the walk and has been raining ever since. Just glad we went out early. Enjoyed the exhibition and a beer at the Grasmere Guzzler beer festival - not much choice left as they had been pretty much drunk dry!
