Gull

I think it's a laughing gull, but I really am not good at gull identification. Maybe a laughing gull entering its second winter. Gulls are confusing!

Anyway - there was a little boy chasing the gulls that landed near where his family was sitting on the beach. I toyed with the thought of telling him it wasn't kind to chase the gulls, but the I thought maybe the gull would fly away if it didn't want to be chased. So I just kept my mouth shut. This is one of the gulls in question flying a few feet away.

We're having trouble finding our vacation rhythm, but I dare say we'll work it out. We have started what looks to be a challenging jigsaw puzzle...
