The squirrel did this

As I can't figure out what else would tear a green pine cone apart on the deck rail.  I am thinking he ate the little Pine Nut things or whatever is in a pine cone.  You can see something that looks like little shells.   

But the good news is the squirrel has not been able to master how to get on our homemade bird feeder that the birds are enjoying.   Too high and too slick for them to jump or climb.   I will have to blip it 
tomorrow..maybe with the birds on it!

After a few days of cooler weather, it is back up to HOT and humid here.  Summer is going to have the last word into September.
