We had a lovely morning in the flat and then went for breakfast at an east end establishment that's been in the same Italian family since 1900. It was an experience! At one point someone referred to a Scotsman as a Gaelic-eater which I thought was a funny change from the old garlic-eater.
In the afternoon we wandered around Arnold Circus in the beautiful sunlight and then made our way home for a quiet night in. The plague is better for both of us but not gone altogether.
