Pool party

A disturbed night for the parents meant we left later than planned for Tesco at the Curve. But I'd done my 36.5 lengths. After Tesco we went to Bangsar for jam and then home to get ready for the pool party for Olivia's 3rd birthday tomorrow. We celebrated today as it's an extra public holiday. Wen Fang, Catherine, Tristan, Sunita, Teddy and Jess came. Jess is in a boot with a chipped ankle bone.

Amelia was in the yellow float for the first time and loved it. There was chocolate cake and lots of presents. Olivia loved the presents and the cake. The Duplo went down a storm. Not sure about the scooter.

The wonders of the Internet meant we watched the Queen open the Queensferry Crossing live on the BBC via Twitter, from 8000 miles away.

There will be more cake tomorrow when she goes back to school after the holidays.
