Flower patterns...

... tend to fascinate me, as do most patterns.

As usual, I have no idea what these supposedly wild blooms are but I enjoyed the cog-wheel type patterns they made, as well as brightening up a rather dull day (though at least the drizzle had stopped).

I notice there was a little insect creeping around in the picture too. Judging by the state of the indiviual flower centres, pollen collectors have very efficiently collected from all but a few of them
