Glimmer of light

Flora and I did a quick swap or her hoody for my cap on university avenue when I was on my way to work and flora was on her way to Aberdeen. Rebecca seemed to be in a very bad mood, possibly suffering from empty nest syndrome.
For once it was scorching sun and I could feel the heat on the back of my neck, which made it even more depressing to have to go to work.
Boring lonely evening, the highlight of which was facetiming flora in her new flat , she seemed very excited.
