Brightness before wetness!

It's been the first day of the new school year today which tradition dictates is a training day based on safeguarding. The usual saddening statistics and realities refreshed...and then time to put those finishing touches to the classroom ready for the children to arrive tomorrow. :-)

An early 3:15pm finish made time for a much enjoyed meeting up with a friend who I haven't seen for 8 years! We chatted away like it was only yesterday we last spoke. I am now back in my cottage after my usual evening stroll - it's exceptionally dark and looks set to throw it down. I was lucky to catch this random sunburst which lasted only a matter of minutes!
