Proms - Gurrelieder

Gurrelieder See the Sun !
Sorry I know it's not a marvellous photo but it's just  in my blip diary to remind me of a great Prom event . I have always loved this piece of music ever since my college days - I know it well . I was so excited to see that Simon Rattle would be conducting the huge orchestra and choruses in  one of this year's Prom  concerts .
. It definitely exceeded all expectations . A very happy dorsetb ;-)
The concert was broadcast last night and is on the BBC I player.
