Last day of the holidays with all of the family children..... at this point in the day I was thinking of reaching for the half finished bottle you can see on the work surface behind them. They are all treasures but I can appreciate their finer qualities better now that they're all tucked up in bed.

Eve's uniform is all ready and raring to go. She's ready too but I just know I'm going to cry on my first day off without her. I thought the onslaught of emotions only happened the first time round.

I think maybe I'm turning into one of the annoying mothers I read about on the internet. Slowly but surely. Soon I'll be wearing mum trainers and I'll probably deem it acceptable to wear a cagoule on a night out. I don't even know when it started.... probably the moment I wondered if the Boden website was worth a quick look.....
