At the Book Festival

My first visit to this year's Book Festival, and it was busy! 

I was there to hear Adam Nicolson speaking about Scottish seabirds and it was a thoroughly depressing story. T and I needed some sustenance and sunshine afterwards to lift our spirits. Later I went back to hear Richard Holloway speaking about death, which was a much more cheerful event than than the seabirds!
