Mermaid Memory

After strolling around beautiful Rye on Saturday and hearing about its history as a Cinque-Port, it has quickly become my new 'favourite place' aptly suited to Mono Monday's theme for today.

This mermaid sign above the 13th century 'Old Mermaid Inn' is a picture that will sit firmly in my memory. Fingers crossed for nice weather later this month for more days out.
