Labor Day picnic @the Jersey Shore

All season long, our 5th Ave lifeguards' stand has the American Flag reverently draped. And each Labor Day the guards offer a picnic lunch. They provide the sandwiches, and we 'season regulars' bring the salads & desserts. This year's treat was to use the Belmar boat as our table! Entertainment was a pod of dolphins swimming with one of our guards who was casually surveying the water & people from his surfboard. Amazing! The day was warm & breezy, water warm & clean, friends warm & loving. Blessed to have such a perfect day.
