The Big Top's in town

My walk this morning took me past the local showground. Setting up for a performance on 6/9 was The Great Moscow Circus ( their claim). 

Walking around the site was cerainly different to when I was a youngster as there are no lions, tigers , elephants or the like. Prohibitive insurance premiums, animal welfare groups and the likes have ended that. 

Anyway took a shot of the clowns face which was on material on the side of a semi and my additional photo is of the top of the tent which certainly looks russian.

The local youngsters are bound to get a kick out of the circus. I think there are only a couple doing the rounds in Oz now which means there is a substantial time lapse between visits.
