Hiding

When an older, male client comments about how "beautiful" I am, followed by listing the attributes he is obviously staring at including "your eyes, your lips, and your body is perfect" all while I'm trying to conduct a professional nursing assessment.

Awkward. Uncomfortable. Self-conscious.

Let me do my damn job without feeling like a piece of meat for your viewing pleasure. I should not ever have to feel that what I look like on the outside is held more important by others than what I am professionally capable of providing in terms of quality nursing care.
