On TV!

We cycled from Gifford up to redstone rig this morning with friends. The children did really well, that's a grade 2 climb for the cycle racing circuit so a tough one for them. C blasted off out front but found out they benefits of riding with the pack when it's windy! We were on mountain bikes too being overtaken by lots of speedy road cyclists. We watched the tour of Britain go past - spotted our hero Cavendish- then whizzed back down the hill. After a lunch and coffee stop in Gifford, the boys went round to play with Jess and Caitlin leaving A and I to get on with jobs. We watched the recorded live coverage of the race when they got home and the cameras zoomed in on us! The commentator made a comment about how great it was to see youngsters had cycled all that way to support the race. Go our kids!
