Early morning can bring...

... surprises.

The heavy rain was expected and might have had something to do with the much earlier than usual refuse collection. After the bin had been emptied I went out in the rain to bring back the wheelie bin.

I put my fingers into the ring of the gate latch and was surprised to feel something soft. When I took a look, there was a snail tucked inside against the rusty screws.

What does a dedicated blipper do in such circumstances? - grab the camera and take a photograph! That was some four hours ago and the little model is still apparently hiding from the rain, though it has moved a centimetre or so.  

That's an early blip sorted - surprisingly it probably also fits in with the Tiny Tuesday challenge.
