My kinda day....

Finally a quiet one at home with my sweetie and the cat as it was a statutory holiday. It was lovely and warm (although very windy) until dusk. We are experirncing the outskirts of hurricane Harvey and 3 days of horrible winds with periods of very heavy rain. Lie in until 11 then cycled to 2 pools (1st one couldnt open due to overnight green stuff in the water) so 90 minutes of cycling in to a stiff headwind i hit the water for 45 minutes of heavenly outdoor sunny laps. This is how kitty spent her day. I then headed for the kitchen to make huge shepards pies for ourselves and our expecting neighbours. Curled up to start the series 'Rome' while a storm blew through for the evening.
