... and the winner is ...

... The Burghley Widower.  After missing the vegetable trophy last year by one point (without knowing there was a trophy), and as this is the last year of Burghley absence, the BW entered a lot more classes and got a load of places and (ta-rah) won the Village Gardening Club Jubilee Vegetable Trophy!  Never again (the picture includes just a tiny selection of the range of veg that had to be harvested, selected, prepared and delivered to the show).  Much ratatouille was made thereafter.
