Only three weeks until Biggar Theatre Workshop's all- new staging of Jannie Skeeky a.k.a. Gianni Schicchi. It resets Puccini's beloved one-act comic opera to 1970s Edinburgh. Sung in English with a new libretto by Julie Morrice and a live chamber orchestra on stage, the show runs from Sept 27-30 at the Corn Exchange in Biggar. Tickets are available from Brownlie's or online at the Biggar Little Festival website (go to the theatre page).
