Look upwards

This was part of a group of sculptures which are situated in the grounds of Eremo delle Carceri di S. Francesco a few miles out of Assisi.  It is a place with an extraordinary sense of peace and calm and this sculpture reminds me that I need to take time out and look at the world around me, just as St. Francis did.
