Lost Property

I can't be blamed,
I've asked around,
but nobody's claimed
this feather I found.

It's small and bright,
two or three inches,
black, yellow and white:
a goldfinch's?

I'll have it framed
fresh off the ground,
as nobody's claimed
this feather I found.
