Bottlebrush

About 18 years ago, I went down to the creek with the kids and dug up bottle brush saplings from the dry creek bed, reasoning that they would be washed away in the next flood. Replanted in my back yard, these saplings are now fully grown trees and they are all in flower at the moment. The honey-eater birds are going crazy for them. The sight and sound show is quite marvellous :)
