Orlando di Jackson

On the Promenadeplatz in the middle of München there was a memorial to the musician Orlando di Lasso (a 16th century composer at the court of Albrecht V).  However, somehow Orlando lost out to Michael Jackson And now all four sides of the memorial are covered in pictures of Michael. I can only assume that he stayed in the hotel opposite at some point.

The extras for today are another shot of the memorial, a nice bit of graffiti and another example of how-English-is-used-in-Germany-in-a-way-that-it-would-NEVER-be-used-in-Britain.

It was a good day.  It was warm and it stayed dry and München looked simply splendid again.
