Seasons change

This morning I watched three golden leaves tumble their way down to the grass in the gardens. Oh dear so it begins, though it is really pretty.
I appreciated this more walking through The Dell. A slight tinge of golden through the trees.
Mum and I set off kinda late after not being able to decide what to do with rain predicted for the middle of the day. Nipped into the Water of Leith Visitor Centre before committing to the walk. Never been before and it's a nice little place.
Under the trees it was fine though and everything felt very lush. Lovely lunch in Collinton before walking back.
