Back to school

First day of year 2 for Phoebe today. She was a bit nervous going in. She wasn't sure where to hang her coat or put her bag. I lingered outside for a minute but she was absolutely fine and went into the classroom with a smile.

Me and Alexander went to do some gymnastics this morning. We haven't been for ages, probably since Phoebe has been at school. A friend reminded me of it and I just knew Alexander would love it now he's older. I wasn't wrong. He actually said wow as we walked in! A new addition there is the giant foam pit. Alexander spent most of the time jumping in and loved every second.

We had a quiet afternoon at home before getting pheebs. She was very tired when she came out but I think she'd had a good day. She said her teacher was nice and this term she will be learning about castles.
