Confession: This was actually taken last night. I planned a walk this evening, but the weather finally changed from hot and dry to very windy and then rain! Yeah!

I've spent most of the day trying to determine if my trip to Kenya next month should be rescheduled. I am the main speaker at a conference in Nairobi. You may have heard that the Kenyan Supreme Court invalidated the presidential election and mandated a new election. It is scheduled for the day that I arrive. And with the violence surrounding this presidential election, I am concerned that it might not be wise to bring in 40-50 people for a conference in downtown Nairobi right after a controversial election. So tomorrow I need to coordinate with my collegues.
