The Police

Oh what to make of the AD traffic police. Today the contractor and owner were each fined 5000 dirhams (about 900 quid) for blocking and closing the above road. The thing is the road is still under construction and hasn't been opened yet.

One of their colleagues in the 'serious collision unit' passed me today. I don't know if that was to investigate or cause collisions. He ignored the two cars reversing down the highway (as they missed their exit), then cut across three lanes in front of all the traffic.
