Goodbye, Fair Tooth!

I've been accepted as a patient at the nearby dental school, where a doctoral candidate has started bringing my teeth up to date. This one was beyond repair, and out it came this morning. The filling fell out about two years ago and the tooth has been loose and painful for at least ten months. But here I am in the United States, where the working poor get used to things like rotten teeth --until they abscess. I only found out that I was eligible for free care at the university because a friend had taken advantage of the program. The general public has no idea!
