After our disappointing morning coffee in Penrith a few weeks ago I decided to treat us to one (each) in Grasmere at the garden centre cafe. The coffee was perfect and the scones freshly baked and huge. We did walk about 2½ miles though I doubt that used many of the calories consumed. 

Many of my followers will recognise the view taken from the roadside looking across the fields to Helm Crag. The weather was dull but dry.
