End of season
The sweet Williams are mostly finished but a few hang on. I doubt they will be picked. I went on a home visit in the morning. The tall clock case had to be largely dismantled to extract the movement. It must have been an expensive clock when bought but had a poor quality broken part which I had to make a replacement for. Moreover the part was never designed to be taken apart and repaired. The old longcase clocks I repair are mostly around 200 years old. There is not much chance for this modern one to survive that long.
