Cavendish Pavilion, Bolton Abbey

This afternoon we went to Bolton Abbey in Wharfedale, and walked from the Cavendish Pavilion along one side of the river almost to Barden Towers, before crossing and walking back to the Pavilion past the Strid. It was good to get out now the rain has stopped and the flood water has gone down.

The best part was, thanks to a Yorkshire Post special offer, we had two cream teas for £3.95 on a Twofer offer. Very nice they were too, and quite a bargain, which pleased us no end.
