Smithills Hall

Today we paid another visit to Smithills Hall, Bolton.   This time the whole building and grounds were open to the public.   Not a workman in sight.
This is the annexe to the Withdrawing Room - built in the early 1500s and altered in the 1700s.  Amazing craftsmanship.
