Dragonfly

Today I took myself off for about 5 hours bumbling at the Coombe Hill Nature Reserve

I'd not been there before despite it being a 10 minute bus journey away but now I have visited it I will certainly be going back.  It was an excellent way to spend a sunny afternoon

Amazingly I managed to grab a pic of a Dragonfly - the blasted beasties just won't stay still for long but I managed to sneak up on it :)
