Calm before the storm

So it's finally here, the evening before the new term starts. Plans have been made, everything is laminated to within an inch of its life and I've even got a plant (well I will have when I collect it from my parents' house.) Tomorrow marks the beginning of my 21st year of teaching. Thankfully I love my job and, apart from a few healthy nerves, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. This is my classroom; the calm before the storm.
