Lesson 2
Oh gosh. Yawning for Scotland tonight.
It has been a long day, and a busy one.
Having lesson 2 of my Gaelic course from 5:30pm to 7pm made it a tiring end. It’s enjoyable and stimulating, but intense and really takes you out of the comfort zone (I hate that cliché, but I’m too tired to think of a proper expression).
The ùlpan method is an immersion type, so almost no English is spoken during the 90 minutes. There are 12 of us, so we take solace in all being in the same situation.
I rewarded myself with a quick stop at Fatma’s on the way home - Lebanese food again. Quick, cheap and delicious. No belly dancers on a Wednesday to distract me. The main course got Blipped - chicken kofteh with hummous, salad & chips.
