Yesterday, an odd-looking and strange-sounding plane flew over.
Could it have been a United States Air Force Rockwell B-1B Lancer?

Today, a Chinook helicopter flew in from the East at low altitude, circled the island of Inchkeith, hovered briefly and then disappeared back the way it came.
