Big Step

In Pre-kindergarten, Grant is off to the races building the foundational skills for reading.  He is developing the concepts of print, phonemic awareness, phonics, and the knowledge necessary to use story language.   He and his classmates will pay close attention to characters, setting, and plot while reading fictional stories, become experts in nonfiction topics as they read together in clubs, and play with rhyme and rhythm.
