Longannet Power Station
I hurriedly climbed into my car after working from home today and decided to just drive and see where it took me. My indoor blip attempts over the weekend had been unsatisfactory so I decided that I'd make the most of the evening while it was still relatively light and see if I would have anymore success outside.
20 minutes later and I was up a country road overlooking the Longannet Power Station (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longannet_Power_Station). Trying to find a suitable place to park up was proving difficult but after some perseverance I managed.
It doesn't help though when you're a) completely new to this game and anything other than the pre-set camera settings leave you completely dazzled or b) it's suddenly gone from sunset to pitch black outside and you can barely make out the muddy puddles, let alone the buttons on the camera.
Anyhew, 43 shots later and this is the one I decided to stick with. Other than sharpening the image via my pc and cropping it slightly it's had no other intervention from me. Is it good enough to warrant being on blipfoto? Hmm, I dunno. But it's a start I suppose.
