Millend Mill: interior showing ground floor
I went with Camilla to walk around the old mills of Eastington showing her what we saw on out guided tour a few weeks ago. In fact Helena had organised for a talk at the WEA AGM last night by the man who'd guided the tour and it by chance Camilla had come to hear him.
So it was really opportune to go back to see the actual buildings in the landscape and hunt about around the sites. Camilla was delighted to discover this previously unknown local area as we had been on the original walk.
We ended our walk at Millend Mill, which I blipped here before. This view was taken looking in to the glassed-in entrance on the ground floor, used by residents of the eleven flats on the floors above. You can see one of the three original water wheels which has been left in situ.
