Dreich

I didn't check the weather before my afternoon walk, it's only rain! Probably a slight miscalculation today as I left the house in nice weather but suddenly the sky darkened and the heavens opened and I got a wee bit wet. Undeterred I headed to Tescos cafe for a reviving cuppa! Blip is from the footbridge over the Esk near to Tescos.

In futher news, Doris the dove is away to a new home. We were all concerned that a life going between window ledges and rooves wasn't right for her and there are lots of predators about so a local landowner, who has a dovecot, agreed to take her. She went to her new home last night. We hope she has a very happy life as we all became very fond of her.
